संकल्प · Sankalpa
A clear intention for the life you are building.
Sankalpa is a firm resolve — the seed of desire turned into a vow you can practice. On MAUNi it becomes a daily anchor for recovery, training, and the Ubuntu principle: I am because we are.
Three pillars
Intention. Practice. Community.
Intention
Name what you stand for
A sankalpa is a firm resolve — not a vague hope. It anchors your recovery in a clear, present-tense commitment you can return to each day.
Practice
Hold it in the body and the day
MAUNi gives you a place to track reflections, lessons, and the pathway that turns intention into lived habit — with human coaching when you need it.
Community
I am because we are
Ubuntu and recovery capital grow together. Your resolve is personal; the infrastructure around it is shared — training, peers, and accountable practice.
How to form one
Short. Positive. Present tense.
A useful sankalpa states what you are becoming — not what you are fighting. Examples: “I meet difficulty with steady breath.” “I honour my recovery one day at a time.” “I ask for help when I need it.”
Inside MAUNi
Use journal and reflections to revisit your resolve. Training pathways and coaching keep the intention connected to skills, boundaries, and recovery capital — so it does not stay only in the mind.
